Something New (Table Thirteen)

This is not REALLLY something new, but I hadn't been to Table Thirteen since last year and they made some changes... So... Yeah something new. The genius behind Table Thirteen (in Green Point) is Lara O'Sullivan. Lara Truly is a genius because not only is the food AMAZING but the decor is also incredible. You can tell that a ;lot of though and love went into the place.

Marcee and I had to handle some car business on Saturday morning. We had to be there obnoxiously early. So after the car business was handled we made our way to Table Thirteen for breakfast.

Saturday breakfast at TableThirteen could become a regular thing. I didn't take any pics of the place because it was kinda full and I didn't want the other people there to feel uncomfortable.

Dirty Thirty here I come

I turned 29 on the 24th of March and it was honestly one of the best days of my life. AND I ate so much food and had so much wine. I said I would do a bday post, so here it is:

Tea Time!

One of my favourite things to do is find nice places to eat or have tea. Weird because I am not even crazy about 'warm drinks'. Marcee and I were having a busy morning, but we decided to stop somewhere and have tea. Goooooo TEA!

I laughed out loud when I saw this because I am one angry woman when I am hungry. I heard the word 'hangry' from my friend Semenya and I thought it was PERFECT! I suddenly thought, how did I not know this word before? What did I use to describe the madness that occurs when I am hungry? LOL

My birthday is in 2 months... This pillow will make me very happy. Just saying.

Reminders

I LOVE being in the kitchen. I recently discovered that I love to cook and try out different recipes. I cook when I am happy and sometimes I cook when I need to be happy.

I feel so small when I am cooking. But I also feel like I am a part of something big.

And then sometimes I get a lovely reminder of how beautiful and unique we all are

When I'm not cooking or blogging I'm on Twitter or Facebook or at home or working or... You get the picture ;)
